School Bus Driver

We are committed to providing safe and reliable transportation services to students. We are currently looking for responsible and experienced individuals to join our team as School Bus Drivers. Responsibilities:
Operate the school bus safely along designated routes, following established schedules and safety protocols.
Ensuring the safety and well-being of students while getting on, riding, and getting off the bus.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus, including checking brakes, tires, lights and other safety equipment.
Maintain order and discipline among students while on the bus, and enforce school district policies and regulations regarding conduct and safety.
Communicate effectively with school administrators, parents, and transportation staff regarding route changes, delays, or accidents.
Adhere to traffic laws and regulations, including speed limits, road signs, and school bus operating guidelines.
Assist students with special needs or mobility challenges getting on and off the bus, as needed.
Complete accurate records and reports regarding daily mileage, number of passengers, and any accidents or accidents.
Attend training courses and professional development opportunities to enhance driving skills and knowledge of safety procedures.
Keep the interior and exterior of the bus clean and well-maintained, including regular cleaning and disinfecting of high-touch surfaces.

Requirements:
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements.
Clean driving record with no history of DUI/DUI convictions or serious traffic violations.
Previous experience as a school bus driver or commercial driver is preferred but not required; Training will be provided to qualified candidates.
Excellent driving skills, with the ability to maneuver a large vehicle safely in various weather and traffic conditions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with students, parents and school staff.
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical examination in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Commitment to maintaining a safe and positive environment for students and promoting their well-being.
Flexibility to work early morning and afternoon shifts, as well as occasional field trips or extracurricular activities.
Knowledge of local roads, neighborhoods and traffic patterns in assigned area.
