Job Description
The Housekeeping Assistant will support all housekeeping and laundry services by analyzing guest requests, analyzing each request, and delegating tasks between team members, so that work can be completed in an efficient and timely manner to ensure an exceptional experience for our guests.

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will support the Housekeeping and Laundry team in all aspects by delegating daily housekeeping and laundry activities within the hotel. Specifically, the Housekeeping Agent will perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Ensure consistently high operational standards in each housekeeping and laundry area, as defined by the hotel’s brand standards.
• Monitor the appearance, standards, and performance of all housekeeping and laundry team members with an emphasis on training and teamwork.
• Provide excellent guest service.
• Actively work on room availability and readiness for guest service, in addition to overseeing floor housekeeping.
• Manage housekeeping department controls such as: staff rotation, issuing master keys, accident books, check-in and check-out of uniforms and linens, among others.
• Responsible for checking guest information in the CRM system on a daily basis and ensuring that their preferences and requests are fulfilled on time.
• Order flowers for special occasions (wedding, death, maternity…). In addition to providing embroidery for special table linens (weddings and pampering)
• Control of lost items and monthly donations.
• Review uniforms and send them for maintenance and/or repair.
• Coordinate and monitor all movement of documents and people within the department. Distribute linens on a daily basis.
• Deliver daily laundry service to guests who use the laundry service.
• Close and save on laundry expenses on a monthly basis
• Replace (a) laundry worker in case of holidays, vacation days or absence
