Logistic Coordinator

A logistics coordinator is responsible for overseeing logistics operations, ensuring that goods move from suppliers to customers efficiently and cost-effectively. This role includes coordinating shipments, managing transportation schedules, tracking inventory, and ensuring timely delivery of goods. The Logistics Coordinator will also handle documentation, liaise with suppliers, and resolve logistics-related issues.

Responsibilities:

• Shipping coordination: Organization and monitoring of the transportation of goods from suppliers to warehouses and customers. Ensure shipments are received and delivered on time.
• Inventory Management – ​​Track inventory levels, monitor warehouse operations, and ensure the accuracy of inventory records.
• Supplier Management: Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and other logistics partners to manage schedules, negotiate prices, and resolve any issues.
• Documentation: Prepare and maintain shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, invoices, and customs documents.
• Compliance: Ensure all shipments comply with local, national and international regulations, including customs and export requirements.
• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any logistics issues, such as delivery delays, damaged products, or inventory discrepancies.
• Data analysis: Analyze logistics data to identify trends, improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Reports: Generate regular reports on logistics performance, including shipment status, inventory levels, and cost analysis.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by keeping them informed about the status of their shipments and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications:

• Education: A bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
• Experience: Minimum [X] years of experience in logistics, supply chain or related field.
