Kitchen Helper

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking kitchen assistant to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will help maintain kitchen cleanliness and efficiency and support chefs and kitchen staff in various tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Help prepare food ingredients, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization, including washing dishes, wiping surfaces, and removing debris.
• Help store and rotate food supplies to ensure freshness.
• Help set up workstations with all necessary ingredients and kitchen equipment.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Perform routine kitchen tasks as directed by senior kitchen staff.
• Assist in unloading and organizing deliveries.
• Make sure all kitchen equipment is clean and in good working order.
Support kitchen staff in various tasks to ensure the proper functioning of the kitchen.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a kitchen assistant or in a similar position is preferred, but not required.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and kitchen safety rules.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks such as standing for long periods and lifting heavy objects.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work multiple shifts, including mornings, afternoons, weekends and holidays.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
