Delivery Bike Rider

We are looking for a reliable and regular bike courier to safely deliver multiple items to specific locations according to delivery instructions provided by our dispatch staff. A bike courier’s responsibilities include prioritizing important deliveries, notifying dispatch staff of any circumstances that may delay or impact deliveries, and answering any questions recipients may have about deliveries. You must also ensure that packages are not damaged or affected by extreme weather conditions.

To be successful as a bike courier, you must be physically fit and adept at managing unexpected circumstances. Ultimately, an excellent bike courier must be familiar with road safety regulations and demonstrate exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.

Responsibilities:
• Pick up and deliver multiple packages to designated locations according to delivery instructions provided by dispatch staff.
• Verify addresses and locations before each delivery to ensure there are no errors.
• Carefully plan travel routes to ensure timely delivery of packages to recipients.
• Secure packages to prevent damage during transport.
• Obtain signatures from recipients upon completion of each delivery to confirm receipt of correct items.
• Collect payments as required and ensure correct amounts are received.
• Maintain an accurate record of all packages delivered to recipients.
• Communicate regularly with dispatch staff to provide delivery updates and receive instructions for new deliveries.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or secondary school diploma.
• Proven experience working as a bicycle courier.
• Good knowledge of road safety regulations.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Ability to use global positioning devices.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Good physical ability.
• Reliable and accurate.
