Job Description
A Mixologist oversees bar service to provide efficient, high-quality beverage service that adds to a superior guest experience and complies with licensing regulations associated with alcoholic beverages.

As a Mixologist, you will oversee bar service to provide efficient, high-quality beverage service that contributes to a superior guest experience and complies with licensing regulations associated with alcoholic beverages. Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

• Maintain efficient bar service with an emphasis on efficient, high-quality service.
• Ensure guest service standards are established, implemented, monitored and consistently evaluated.
• Set port to predefined parameters of the operation
• Comply with licensing regulations and hotel procedures related to bar and alcoholic beverage service and conduct staff training sessions accordingly.
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of all beverages served at the bar, how to prepare and serve beverages (as per recipe) and how to train bar staff to possess and apply this knowledge.
• Ensure compliance and proper training of team members so that all company health, safety and fire rules and procedures are understood and applied.
• Ensure all team members present themselves impeccably and adhere to the correct uniform standards.
• Handle sudden staff shortages due to absenteeism and report all absences in accordance with company attendance procedures.
• Complete all necessary administrative procedures in accordance with company procedures relating to all employed members.
• Maximise revenue and increase average spend per person through upselling, high standards of customer service, effective training and motivational techniques.
