Assistant Reefer Technician

Roles and responsibilities:

* Performs troubleshooting and repair services for refrigerated containers.
* Assists in inspecting refrigerated containers using standard testing equipment and analyzing results to evaluate performance and determine the need for modification or repair.
* Assists in performing preventative maintenance and repair of equipment and refrigeration systems.
* Identify equipment malfunctions, and work with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary to purchase replacement parts.
* Providing service and repair of refrigerated containers.
*Performs other duties as required.

Desired candidate profile:

* Diploma or equivalent education.
*At least one year of experience in the refrigeration field.
* A training course for manufacturers in the field of refrigeration is preferred.
* Knowledge of refrigerated containers and refrigeration equipment maintenance.
* Excellent planning, organizing and problem-solving skills.
