Warehouse Helper (Shipping & Logistics)

We are looking for employees for a shipping company. As a Warehouse Assistant in the Shipping and Logistics Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouse. Your responsibilities will include assisting with shipping, receiving, inventory management, and maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment.

Responsibilities:

Loading and unloading:

Assist in loading and unloading goods and materials from trucks or containers.
Ensure accurate counting and inspection of items received.
Inventory control:

Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
Assist with regular stock checks and report any discrepancies.
Order selection and packing:

Prepare orders by picking items from shelves according to packing lists.
Packs and labels items for shipping according to company standards.
Shipping and receiving:

Assist with the shipping process, including labeling, packing, and arranging transportation.
Receiving, inspecting and recording incoming shipments.
Material handling:

Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
Handle and store materials safely in designated areas.
Quality assurance:

Inspect products for quality and report any damaged or defective items.
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Complete and maintain accurate records of items shipped and received.
Prepare shipping and receiving documents as required.
Cleanliness and organization:

Keeping the warehouse clean, organized and free of obstructions.
Help maintain a safe and hazard-free work environment.
