Waiter/waitress for Hotel Al Nahda

We are a popular and vibrant dining destination known for our exceptional cuisine, warm hospitality and inviting atmosphere. We are committed to providing memorable dining experiences for our guests, and are looking for talented and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as waiters/waitresses.

Responsibilities:
Greet and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
Escorting guests to their tables and presenting menus
Provide menu recommendations and answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
Receive food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using point of sale systems as needed
Serve food and beverages quickly and courteously, ensuring accuracy and presentation standards
Monitor cutlery, glassware, and condiments to ensure they are clean, polished, and well-prepared
Anticipate guests’ needs and respond quickly to requests, special dietary requirements and allergies
Check in with guests to ensure they are satisfied with meals and address any concerns or issues
Process payments and handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to coordinate food and beverage service and ensure timely delivery of orders
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including clearing tables, resetting tables, and assisting with closing duties

Requirements:
Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with guests and colleagues
Positive attitude, enthusiasm and a true passion for hospitality and guest service
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
Strong multitasking and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Food and alcohol service safety certification (if required by local regulations)
Physical stamina and ability to stand, walk and carry trays for long periods
