Job Description

• The Safety Inspector examines the behavior of drivers and customers, based on reports received from the appropriate party.

• Use safe driving management tools to identify potential safety risks and take action accordingly.

• Monitor all sources of safety alerts and organize them according to the severity of each situation for immediate response.

• Follow up with drivers and oversee proper closure of the event with the shelter stations and departments involved.

• Fully know all operational documents of the Bus Control Center, and the correct use of procedures, tools and communication channels.

• Contact drivers operating on those roads in case of reporting unsafe driving or any other violation, and customer behaviors and actions according to procedures to monitor the situation.

• Driver cases must be recorded in a system or any applicable system, to ensure proper reporting of cases and accurate transfer to the next shift.

• Use of video support system on buses to assist in cases according to procedures.

• Ensure documentation of incoming safety alerts and provide reports and recommendations to supervisors.

• Follow-up and transfer of knowledge on road safety and proactive prevention of road accidents through knowledge transfer workshops.

• Upon starting your shift, you will ensure that information provided during the previous shift handover is collected and that your instructions are received and acted upon by the shift supervisor, in accordance with procedures.

Any additional responsibilities assigned by the direct supervisor or manager.

 

Educational qualifications:

• High school diploma or certificate with 5 years of practical experience.

Basic skills:

• Skilled at building relationships and trust with clients and colleagues.

• Excellent listener with the ability to communicate and convey information effectively, both orally and in writing.

• Advanced level of computer skills with solid command of multiple programs covering a wide range of applications.

• Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking in English.
