Storekeeper for Hotel

We are currently looking for a responsible, detail-oriented storekeeper to join the operational team of our hotel. As a storekeeper, you will be responsible for managing and organizing inventory, ensuring appropriate stock levels, and facilitating smooth supply chain operations. Your role will be crucial in supporting the smooth functioning of our hotel.

Responsibilities:
Receive and inspect incoming deliveries and verify quantities and quality.
Maintain organized and efficient storage of supplies and goods.
Monitor and track inventory levels, and anticipate restocking needs.
Issuing and distributing supplies to various hotel departments.
Maintain accurate records of inventory movements and transactions.
Collaborate with purchasing and purchasing teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and prevent shortages.
Ensure adherence to health and safety standards in the storage area.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a storekeeper or similar role, preferably in a hotel setting.
familiarity with inventory management programs and systems.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting.
