Storekeeper

We are looking for an experienced storekeeper to join our team at Gulf Steel Industries Company.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and managing the storage of all goods, materials and supplies. You will also be responsible for keeping accurate records of stock levels and carrying out regular stock checks.

Responsibilities:
• Receiving, unloading and storing incoming goods.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
• Conduct regular inventories.
• Prepare and issue merchandise to customers or other departments as instructed.
• Ensure proper storage of goods and materials.
• Ensure that all safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Monitor expiry dates and ensure all products are stored in appropriate conditions.
• Maintaining and cleaning the warehouse and its surrounding areas.
• Assist with other duties as required.

Requirements:
• Proven work experience as a store keeper
• Knowledge of inventory procedures
• Working knowledge of computer systems
• Ability to operate forklift equipment
• Excellent organizational skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
