Responsible for allocating, transporting and supervising plant, equipment, materials, labour and workers. Reviewing quality of work and required progress, ensuring safe working conditions, ensuring materials are available to avoid project delays and are adequately monitored and stored. Primary responsibility is productivity of labour/workers/craftsmen.

Responsibilities:

• Routine work (logistics, transport, social work, Friday programmes)
• Maintaining records and preparing reports on daily activity schedule/worksheet of the day.
• Recording and reporting daily production.
• Inspection requests.
• Must be able to understand interaction with SC site specialist activities and calibration.
• Advising on suitability of materials (specialist knowledge)
• Moving and allocating materials
• Allocating plant, materials and labour based on batch sizes offered – optimum utilisation
• Distributing work amongst workers to improve production.
• Assist in forecasting labor and material requirements as well as plant/machinery productivity.
• Ensure daily productivity is met as per expectations within tolerance.

Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

• Diploma in Civil Engineering
• 5 to 7 years of experience. Experience in villa finishing is a must.
• Must have the ability to influence, negotiate and focus on clients.
• Skilled in planning, organizing, scheduling and coordinating.
• Must be good at decision making, problem solving and time management.
• Fluent in English – written, spoken and presented.
