We are looking for a Beauty Salon Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for clients who visit the beauty salon or contact us for more information about our beauty services.
A Salon Receptionist’s responsibilities include greeting clients upon arrival, answering clients’ questions about services via phone, email, or in person, and processing transactions. To be successful in this position, you must be highly organized and able to manage clients tactfully, even during peak demand.
Ultimately, you will help enhance our reputation by building friendly and trusting relationships with clients.

Responsibilities

• Warmly welcome clients, escort them to the appropriate beauty station, and inform assigned estheticians of their arrival.
• Book and confirm appointments via phone and email.
• Process transactions (cash and credit cards) and issue receipts.
• Serve drinks and chat with clients in the waiting room.
• Greet visitors, answer questions about services, and schedule appointments based on availability.
• Inform clients about new services and discounts.
• Upsell services and products when appropriate (e.g., through guides and gift cards)
• Update client records with contact information, invoices, appointments, and services rendered.
• Manage calls and messages across different platforms.
• Maintain orderly reception area.
• Inventory management
• Manage cash expenses in the salon.
• Place orders and receive products

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a salon receptionist, front desk representative, or similar position.
• Hands-on experience with office equipment such as printers and point-of-sale systems.
• Familiarity with transaction processing.
• Knowledge of cosmetic products.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, telephone, and email) with a customer service attitude.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to remain calm under stressful circumstances.
• High school diploma
