Job Description:
The Export Sales Manager position at Packwell, a division of Western International Group, is a high-impact position focused on driving growth in our international packaging and distribution business. This position requires a proactive sales professional capable of identifying and developing new global markets, managing comprehensive export operations, and forging long-term relationships with international customers.
You will serve as a liaison between the company and international buyers, ensuring smooth coordination between production, logistics, and regulatory compliance teams. With a deep understanding of export procedures, documentation standards, and the dynamics of global trade, you will significantly contribute to Packwell’s vision of expanding its global presence.

Responsibilities
• Develop and manage export sales channels and distributors in designated international regions.
• Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and customer segments in the global packaging industry.
• Manage requests for quotations (RFQs), price proposals, contract negotiations, and order completion in coordination with the Sales Manager.
• Collaborate with internal departments, such as Production, Logistics, and Finance, to ensure the timely execution and shipment of export orders.
• Ensure that all export transactions comply with international trade laws, Incoterms, documentation standards, and customs regulations.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer behavior in international markets.
• Attend and represent the company at global trade shows, B2B meetings, and online lead generation platforms.
• Maintain and update customer relationship management (CRM) systems, prepare periodic sales reports, and monitor sales performance against targets.
• Resolve customer issues, handle complaints, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction after delivery.
• Coordinate with carriers, customs brokers, and documentation teams to ensure proper order fulfillment.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferably with an MBA).
• Two to five years of demonstrable experience in export sales, preferably in the packaging, industrial goods, or distribution sectors.
• Strong knowledge of international trade terms (INCOTERMS), export documentation, international shipping, and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English (other languages are a plus).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM, and ERP systems.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
