Retail Storekeeper

We are currently looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Store Keeper to join our team. The Store Keeper will be responsible for managing inventory, organizing storage areas, receiving and dispatching merchandise, and maintaining accurate records of all inventory transactions. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Receives, inspects and verifies incoming goods against purchase orders or invoices.
Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to ensure efficient use of space.
Name and label inventory items accurately for easy identification and retrieval.
Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies between actual inventory and records.
Prepare and package items for dispatch, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to arrange timely deliveries and resolve any issues or discrepancies.
Maintain cleanliness and order in the store area, and adhere to safety and sanitation standards.
Generate reports on inventory levels, inventory movements, and other relevant metrics as needed.
Assist with other warehouse-related tasks and projects as assigned by management.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Familiarity with inventory management software and basic computer skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for long periods.
Knowledge of safety and security procedures in the warehouse environment.
