Receptionist for Hotel

We are currently looking for a friendly, professional, customer focused individual to join our team as a Hotel Receptionist. If you have excellent communication skills, a welcoming attitude, and a passion for hospitality, we invite you to apply for this position.

• Greeting guests upon their arrival at the hotel and providing them with a warm welcome and assistance with check-in procedures.
• Registers guests, assigns rooms, and issues room keys while ensuring accuracy and compliance with hotel policies.
• Answer telephone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and provide information about hotel services, amenities and local attractions.
• Dealing with guest requests and complaints quickly and professionally, and striving to solve problems to the guest’s satisfaction.
• Process payments, collect deposits, and verify credit card information using the hotel’s reservation and payment systems.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance staff to ensure guest rooms are clean, well-maintained, and ready for occupancy.
• Maintain the front desk area neat and organized, including displaying promotional materials and informational brochures.
• Assist with preparing guest invoices, billing statements, and other administrative tasks as needed.
• Stay informed of hotel policies, special events, and emergency procedures to provide accurate information and assistance to guests.
• Collaborate with other hotel employees to ensure a smooth and enjoyable guest experience from check-in to check-out.

• Previous experience in customer service or hospitality homes is preferred but not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency in using computerized reservation and booking systems.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance and behavior.
• Flexibility in work shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent; Additional education or training in hospitality management is a plus.
