Radio Operator

Roles and responsibilities:
• Operate and monitor radio equipment for effective communication.
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and sent messages.
• Monitor and respond to distress signals and emergency calls.
• Coordinate with other radio operators to transmit messages and information.
• Follow established protocols and procedures for wireless communications.
• Troubleshoot and maintain radio equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Stay up to date on relevant regulations and procedures in wireless communications.
• Providing assistance and support during emergencies.

Required candidate profile:
• Proven experience as a radio operator, preferably with experience in the oil and gas industry.
• In-depth knowledge of wireless communications protocols, equipment and procedures.
• Familiarity with logistics and operational processes, and demonstrated understanding of supply chain dynamics.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking capabilities for effective responsibility management.
• Excellent communication skills, conveying information clearly and concisely.
• Familiarity with emergency response protocols and procedures.
• Knowledge of dock operations and enhanced coordination in marine logistics. (optional)
