PV Technician

Job description
• Carrying out operation and maintenance of electrical installations including photovoltaic inverter, photovoltaic modules, transformers and medium voltage switchboards.
• Monitor and collect important points of the HOTO project.
• Inspect and maintain the unit mounting structure
• Perform testing, repair, replacement and maintenance of cables, cable interconnections, PV connectors/string boxes, connectors and fuses in the PV system.
• Perform testing, maintenance and replacement of transformers
• Perform testing, repair, replacement and maintenance of switchgear and control equipment in photovoltaic systems
• Perform testing and maintain SCADA communication in the system
• Report important events to the Operation and Maintenance Engineer and maintain necessary record
• Unsafe conditions, unsafe actions, and reporting of near misses.
• Safe and proper handling of maintenance of company assets, spare parts and tools.
• Any other duties, assigned by the Operation and Maintenance Engineer, in line with the role
• Troubleshooting AC and DC circuits and panels.

The candidate must meet the criteria listed below for the Technician
Minimum Qualifications: ITI in Electrical/NCVT
Minimum experience: 2 years in solar energy operation and maintenance
