Order Taker in Hotel the Lana – Dorchester Collection

Responsibilities:
• You will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of room service to ensure our guests have the best experience.
• You will be responsible for warmly greeting guests when they call for room service, answering any questions about the menu offered, and recommending and selling menu items with your in-depth knowledge to ensure the highest level of guest satisfaction.
• Serving others is your passion and you will ensure the establishment is in impeccable condition and that support team members meet all service standards.
• You will also be responsible for training and mentoring the entire wait team, ensuring their knowledge is unparalleled and that they can assist our guests in the best way possible.

• During your daily routine, you communicate with other departments as needed to ensure a flawless presentation of your establishment and maintain high standards of cleanliness and maintenance at all times including furniture, equipment, flooring, fixtures and fittings.

• English is the primary language used in our hotel. You will be able to communicate comfortably in this language. Other languages ​​including Arabic, Italian, French, Spanish and German are highly desirable.
• You must have a relevant professional certificate or hotel school diploma and bring a wealth of previous experience working in luxury hotels and restaurants in the Middle East.
