Operation Supervisor For Packaged Food Factory

Our organization is committed to excellence in operations and service delivery. We are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Operations Supervisor. This role will supervise and coordinate daily operational activities, ensuring efficiency, productivity and adherence to quality standards.

Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of operational staff, providing guidance, training and support to achieve department goals and objectives.
Plan, organize and prioritize operational workflows and schedules to meet production goals, customer requirements and service level agreements.
Monitor and evaluate operational processes and procedures, and identify opportunities for improvement, optimization and cost reduction.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations and safety standards in all operational activities.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of equipment, facilities, and work areas, addressing maintenance issues, safety risks, and hygiene concerns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, purchasing, quality assurance, and customer service, to streamline workflow and solve operational challenges.
Develop and implement training programs and performance measures to enhance employee skills, knowledge and productivity.
Analyze operational data and performance metrics, and prepare reports, dashboards and presentations for senior management review and strategic decision making.
Promote a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork, accountability and continuous improvement among operations staff.
Dealing with customer inquiries, complaints and escalated problems, and demonstrating effective communication and conflict resolution skills.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field preferred; An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Proven experience in operations management, supervision, or leadership roles, preferably in [industry or sector].
Strong understanding of operational principles, methodologies and best practices, with the ability to implement process improvements and improve efficiency.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor and develop a diverse team of operations staff.
Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a results-oriented mindset and attention to detail.
Proficiency in using computer applications and software tools for data analysis, reporting, and project management.
Knowledge of safety regulations, quality standards and compliance requirements applicable to [industry or sector].
