MEP Supervisor in Whitespot Facilities Management Services

We are seeking a highly competent and well-organized Facilities Supervisor to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our facilities, ensuring they operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant regulations. This role includes overseeing maintenance activities, managing staff, addressing tenant concerns, and ensuring a high level of facility maintenance.

Job Description
• Knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with facilities management software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with tenants, employees, and stakeholders.
• Ability to efficiently identify and resolve facilities-related issues.
• Effective organizational and multi-tasking skills to manage various facilities responsibilities.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve operational goals.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service to tenants and customers.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and emergency situations.

Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage the general maintenance and operations of the facility, including high-rise buildings.
• Lead and manage a team of maintenance and support staff, including cleaning technicians and security personnel.
• Assign tasks, provide training, and conduct performance appraisals.
• Coordinate and oversee routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and renovations involving MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) and civil systems.
• Ensure the facility is safe and well maintained, and address issues promptly.
• Ensure the facility complies with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
• Stay informed about contract validation and follow up appropriately.
• Act as a point of contact for tenants, customers, and stakeholders.
• Address tenant concerns and maintain positive relationships.
• Cooperate with contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
• Negotiate contracts and ensure services meet quality standards.
• Update and implement emergency response and evacuation plans.
• Coordinate responses to emergencies or incidents within the facility.
• Maintain records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and accidents.
• Create reports for management and regulatory agencies as needed
