Supervise swimming activities at the water center and ensure compliance with safety procedures, instructions and policies
Alert for unsafe activities and enforcement of water safety policies and pool regulations
Providing first aid in case of injury, rescuing swimmers in danger or discomfort and administering cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) or artificial respiration, if necessary
Assessment of safety conditions and presentation of an action plan for the aquatic emergency
Inspect pool equipment, facilities and water to make sure they are usable and safe
Supervision and assistance in cleaning equipment and facilities
Opening and closing the pool every day, depending on the schedule and hours
Pool party organization and supervision
Teaching or assisting lessons in basic swimming principles
Resolve programming disputes to make sure the pool environment is safe for contests
