Procurement and Logistics Officer

Qualifications: Any University bachelor’s degree

Experience : 3-4 years of exp of UAE.

Job Description :

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers who can provide quality products, competitive pricing, and reliable delivery

• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers, addressing any concerns, and negotiating favourable terms.

• Source products and materials required for the business, ensuring alignment with quality standards, customer preferences, and pricing objectives.

• Conduct market research to identify new trends, products, and suppliers that can enhance our product offerings.

• Generate and process purchase orders accurately, ensuring that the correct products, quantities, and delivery details are included.

• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order acceptance, lead times, and shipment tracking information.

• Implement inventory control strategies to minimize stockouts, overstock situations, and excess inventory holding costs.

• Negotiate favourable pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings while maintaining product quality and availability.

• Monitor and analyse pricing trends and fluctuations within the industry.

• Ensure that all procured products meet the specified quality standards and comply with relevant regulations.

• Perform regular quality checks on received products and address any discrepancies.

• Manage supplier contracts and agreements, ensuring adherence to terms, conditions, and delivery schedules.

• Renew contracts or negotiate modifications as needed.

• Analyse procurement data, including spend, supplier performance, and inventory levels, to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.

• Prepare regular reports for management review and send the same on daily basis to Procurement Manager

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including logistics, sales, and finance, to ensure smooth procurement operations that support business goals.

• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to address issues and ensure timely delivery of products.
