The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing and improving Retail Discount’s supply chain operations, ensuring the efficient movement of goods and materials from suppliers and manufacturers to customers. This role involves managing the day-to-day operations of supply centers, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement in logistics, replenishment, and distribution activities. The Logistics Manager works to improve overall supply chain effectiveness, aligning logistics strategies with broader business objectives and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products.

Responsibility

• Implement a supply chain strategy that aligns with Retail Discount’s overall corporate objectives.
• Propose and manage procedures and solutions in supply chain management to support company expansion.
• Manage and implement supply chain solutions to meet merchandise needs and store operations.
• Identify potential risks within the supply chain and develop action plans to ensure safe handling and operational efficiency of merchandise inventory in stores and storage areas.
• Work with supply chain centers located in different countries and drive cost-effective logistics solutions.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in customs regulations and legal requirements affecting the supply chain.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid stock-outs.
• Oversee management of distribution center inventory days and cold chain compliance to meet operational goals and quality standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
• 6 years of experience in a similar position
• Management of a large and complex organization
• Excellent project management
