Kitchen Staff

We are a renowned establishment committed to providing exceptional dining experiences to our guests. We are currently looking for motivated and skilled individuals to join our team as Kitchen Staff. Responsibilities:
• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and seasoning meats, under the supervision of the head chef or kitchen supervisor.
• Follow recipes, portion control guidelines, and food safety protocols to ensure consistency and quality in food production.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including knives, meat slicers, grills, ovens, and fryers.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area, including work stations, equipment and utensils.
• Monitor food supplies and ingredients, replenish stocks as needed and rotate items to ensure freshness and minimize waste.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, organizing inventory, and maintaining accurate records of inventory levels.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Support the Head Chef and culinary team in executing special menus, catering events, and banquet tasks as required.
• Adhere to kitchen policies, procedures and safety guidelines, including proper handling and storage of food products.
• Follow supervisors’ instructions and demonstrate flexibility in performing various tasks as needed to support kitchen operations.

Requirements:
• Previous experience working in a kitchen environment is preferred but not required. We welcome candidates with a passion for cooking and a desire to learn.
• Basic knowledge of cooking techniques, food handling procedures, and kitchen safety practices.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks as required.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, based on business needs.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions from supervisors and senior kitchen staff.
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and strong work ethic with a commitment to excellence in food quality and presentation.
• Food handler certification or willingness to obtain certification upon hire.
