Security Guard for Warehouse

Our company operates a busy warehouse facility dedicated to storing and distributing merchandise for our customers. We prioritize safety and security to protect our assets and the valuable inventory entrusted to us. As we continue to grow, we are looking for attentive and reliable security guards to join our team and ensure the protection of our warehouse buildings.

Responsibilities:
Patrol the warehouse premises regularly to detect and deter suspicious activities
Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security threats
Control access to the warehouse by verifying the credentials of employees, visitors and vehicles entering and exiting the facility
Conduct security checks on incoming and outgoing shipments to prevent theft and unauthorized access
Respond immediately to security incidents, alerts and emergencies, and report any unusual or suspicious behavior to management and law enforcement as necessary
Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to implement and enforce security procedures and protocols
Maintain accurate records of security incidents, patrols, and activities in daily logs and reports
Assist in the investigation of security breaches, thefts and other incidents, and provide testimony and evidence as needed
Apply safety regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries in the warehouse environment
Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Security Supervisor or Warehouse Manager

requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience as a Security Guard or in a related security role, preferably in a warehouse or industrial environment
A valid security license or certification as required by state or local regulations
Strong observation and control skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in high-pressure and emergency situations
Basic knowledge of security and safety procedures, protocols and equipment
Physical fitness and ability to stand, walk and patrol for long periods
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
Integrity, professionalism and commitment to upholding ethical standards
