Janitor/Cleaners

Responsibilities:

Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces
Clean and disinfect bathrooms, break rooms and other common areas according to established protocols and schedules
Empty trash receptacles, replace liners, and dispose of waste in designated areas
Monitor and replenish supplies, such as hand soap, paper towels, and toilet paper, in bathrooms and other areas as needed
Clean windows, mirrors and glass surfaces to ensure clarity and visibility
Report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the appropriate supervisor or maintenance team
Follow all safety procedures and instructions while handling cleaning chemicals, equipment, and tools
Adhere to company policies and procedures, including dress code and attendance standards
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective cleaning operations
Maintain a positive and professional demeanor while interacting with employees, customers, and visitors

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent; Additional training in janitorial services or related field is preferred
Previous experience as a janitor, cleaner, custodian or housekeeper is preferred
Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment and products used in commercial or industrial environments
Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
Attention to detail and accuracy in completing tasks to ensure high levels of cleanliness
Physical stamina and ability to lift, carry, push and pull heavy objects and equipment as needed
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays as required
Reliable transportation to and from work
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork
