Heavy / Light Vehicle Driver

We are currently looking for experienced Heavy/Light Vehicle Drivers to join our team. Successful candidates will be responsible for transporting freight and passengers safely and efficiently, while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.

Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy/light vehicles, including trucks, vans or buses, to transport goods and/or passengers to assigned locations.
• Loading and unloading goods safely and securely, following appropriate handling procedures.
• Conducting inspections of vehicles before and after the trip to ensure their roadworthiness.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations and company policies while driving.
• Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, supervisors and other team members.
• Ensure the safety of passengers and cargo at all times.
• Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks as needed.

Requirements:
• A valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements (for heavy vehicle drivers).
• Clean driving record free of serious violations.
• Previous experience as a heavy/light vehicle driver is preferred.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads and perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading merchandise.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
