Job Description
We are looking for a friendly and professional Guest Service Agent to join our team in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. As the face of our hotel, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our guests enjoy an exceptional experience from check-in to check-out.

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and warm manner, setting the tone for their stay.
• Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Address guest queries and resolve issues quickly and professionally.
• Provide comprehensive information on amenities, services, and local attractions in Sharjah.
• Coordinate with other departments to address guest requests and ensure their comfort.
• Maintain a neat and organized reception area.
• Process payments and accurately manage guest accounts.
• Maintain hotel standards of excellence in customer service and professionalism.
• Adapt to changing situations and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Handle all incoming and outgoing calls accurately and courteously
• Maintain detailed knowledge of the hotel’s fire, life and security system.
• Proudly promote hotel services and look for opportunities to enhance guest stays through upselling.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Guest Service Agent or similar position within a luxury hotel is preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to resolve issues efficiently
• Proficiency in hotel management software (preferably OperaCloud) and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
• Proficiency in Arabic is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of local tourist attractions and services in and around Sharjah.
• Cultural sensitivity and awareness to meet the needs of diverse international clients.
• Ability to maintain a professional and friendly demeanor in all interactions.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
