General Foreman

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors.
• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with safety standards and company policies.
• Read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications to ensure accurate construction.
• Plan and schedule construction activities to meet project deadlines.
• Monitor the progress of construction projects and provide regular updates to management.
• Inspect work to ensure it meets quality standards and project specifications.
• Resolve any problem or conflict that arises in the work.
• Manage the use of materials and equipment, ensuring efficient use and minimal waste.
• Train and mentor construction workers and promote a culture of safety and productivity.
• Maintain accurate records of the use of labor, materials and equipment.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; Additional construction management certification or training is a plus.
• Proven experience as a general foreman or in a similar supervisory role in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, technologies and security systems.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans and drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
• Physical resistance and ability to work in various weather conditions.
