Forklift Operator

We are looking for a skilled, safety-minded individual to join our team as a Forklift Operator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient and safe operation of forklifts, contributing to the smooth flow of materials within our facility.

Responsibilities:
• Operate forklifts safely to move, stack and retrieve materials within the warehouse or production area.
• Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper placement and securing of materials.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and report any problems to the supervisor.
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.
• Collaborate with warehouse and production teams to meet material movement requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and transactions.
• Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed, including manual material handling.

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a forklift operator, with a valid forklift certification.
• Knowledge of forklift operation and safety instructions.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in loading placement.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
