Food Safety Officer

We are currently looking for a meticulous and experienced Food Safety Officer to join our team in Dubai

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and audits of food handling, storage and preparation areas to ensure compliance with food safety requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate food safety practices and procedures, identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Provide training and guidance to employees on food safety protocols, including proper food handling, hygiene and sanitation practices.
• Investigate and respond to food safety incidents, complaints, and non-compliance issues, and implement corrective and preventative measures to mitigate risks.
• Maintain accurate records of food safety inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, nutrition, or related field.
• Certification in food safety (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) is highly desirable.
• Previous experience in food safety management or a related role, preferably in the food service industry.
• Strong knowledge of food safety systems, standards and best practices.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
