An electrical and lighting wholesale company in Abu Dhabi is looking for:
EXPERIENCED ACCOUNTANT
JOB DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
The candidate will manage the bookkeeping activities of the company, prepare payrolls and genral Human Resources functions, issue invoices, and track collection in addition to other accounting tasks.
Responsibilities:
To prepare financial statements
To manage accounts payable (bill payments, salaries, petty cash etc.) and receivable through cash / cheque / voucher in a timely manner
To establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
To maintain and reconcile cash / financial accounts
To enforce credit control
To allocate cash to different departments / divisions and ensure that the direct staff complies with it
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
3-5 years of experience as an accountant in the UAE is a MUST.
Familiarity with accounting software
Familiarity with VAT accounting
UAE Driver License
Only local candidates already in the UAE will be considered.
EXTRA QUALIFICATIONS (The following are not requirements but are considered a plus):
Arabic language knowledge
OFFICE HOURS
Saturday-Thursday, 8am-1pm and 4-8pm
COMPENSATION
AED 2000-4000 depending on experience
