Day Care Staff For Nursery School

• Supervise children and involve them in age-appropriate activities, promoting their development and learning.
• Create and maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment for children.
• Assist with daily routines, including meals, naps, and diaper changes.
• Plan and implement educational activities, crafts and games to promote learning and development.
• Support the social, emotional and physical development of children.
• Communicate effectively with children, parents and colleagues.
• Keep accurate records of children’s progress and behavior.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, including sanitation and safety procedures.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to stay current on best practices in early childhood education.

• High school diploma or equivalent; Degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in child care or early childhood education is an advantage.
• CPR and first aid certification required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Patience, creativity and true love for working with children.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, including mornings, afternoons and occasional nights.
• History screening and health evaluation.
