Bike Courier

We are looking for a reliable and punctual bike courier to safely deliver various items to specific locations following delivery instructions provided by our dispatch staff. A bike mailman’s responsibilities include prioritizing important deliveries, notifying dispatch personnel of any conditions that may delay or affect deliveries, and answering any questions recipients may have regarding deliveries. You should also ensure that the packaging is not damaged or affected by extreme weather conditions.

To be successful as a biker, you must be physically fit and skilled at managing unexpected circumstances. Ultimately, an excellent biker must be familiar with road safety regulations as well as demonstrate exceptional communication, problem-solving and time management skills.

Responsibilities:
Pick up and deliver various packages to designated locations according to delivery instructions provided by dispatch personnel.
Check addresses and locations before each delivery to ensure there are no errors.
Carefully plan travel routes to ensure packages are delivered to recipients in a timely manner.
Secure packages to prevent damage during transportation.
Obtain recipient signatures upon completion of each delivery to confirm receipt of the correct items.
Collect payments as required and ensure correct amounts are received.
Maintain an accurate record of all packages delivered to recipients.
Communicate regularly with dispatch staff to provide delivery updates and receive instructions for new deliveries.
Bike Courier Requirements:
High school diploma or GED.
Proven experience working as a bike courier.
Sound knowledge of road safety systems.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Ability to use GPS devices.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Effective communication skills.
Good physical endurance.
Reliable and accurate.
