Catering waiters

Roles and responsibilities:

* Assist with basic food preparation activities, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables
* Clean and sterilize all cutlery and plates before serving food
* Prepare dining areas by arranging chairs, tables, signs and tents as instructed by the Catering Manager or Events Manager
* Loading and unloading food, cutlery, and catering supplies into and out of catering vehicles
* Ensure there are no shortages in supplies by managing orders and inventory
* Accept deposits and discuss prices for catering services with customers
* Respond to guests’ questions and handle complaints regarding catering services during the event
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the catering department.
* Train and educate employees on HSE procedures and best practices.
* Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks.
