An accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting rules and regulations. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Process invoices, payments, and payroll transactions.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist in filing tax returns.
• Perform financial analysis and make recommendations for cost-saving strategies.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
• Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documents.
• Work closely with auditors, financial institutions, and management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Possession of a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) degree is a plus.
• Previous accounting or financial experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in using accounting software (such as QuickBooks, SAP, or similar software).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of tax laws, financial regulations, and reporting standards.
