Job Description
• Set up and remove crane when instructions are given.
• Check for proper lifting points of attached lifting strap and marking lines.
• Crane path to ensure it is clear at all times for crane movement.
• Warn other employees to ensure no one is under suspended load.
• Tie down and secure loads to ensure no objects fall.
• Block or isolate available area when necessary
• Ensure materials (boats, boards, etc.) coming from ships, are to be parked within the yellow line and ready for pick-up stop.
• All vehicles approaching the rail crane must be monitored and warned to ensure a collision does not occur.
• Raising and lowering materials to ground level by crane.
• Providing assistance to crane foreman on activities such as installing access walkways.
• Reporting dangerous/unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Follow up on daily operations related to your business to ensure business continuity.

Qualifications/Experience and Skills
• High school.
• At least 6 months of experience.
• Basic training in hand signals on cranes and equipment.
• Working knowledge of English.
• Knowledge of other languages ​​will be valued.
• Ability to understand spoken and written instructions.
