Cashier

We are a popular retail store dedicated to providing excellent service and a pleasant shopping experience to our customers. As we continue to grow, we are looking for friendly, trustworthy tellers to join our team and ensure smooth and efficient transactions.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome customers and provide them with a warm and friendly welcome.
• Scan items and process customer purchases accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash, credit and debit card transactions, ensuring proper procedures are followed.
• Issuing receipts, refunds and exchanges to customers.
• Keep checkout area clean and organized.
• Assist customers with queries and provide excellent customer service.
• Pack groceries or merchandise as needed.
• Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Follow store policies and procedures for returns and exchanges.

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Provides flexible work schedules, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
